No! A strong PTO needs the support of moms, dads, step-parents, grandparents, guardians, and all school staff alike! Anyone who cares about students at Woodlawn belongs in the PTO!

Does joining the PTO mean I have to volunteer?
No! The PTO appreciates everyone’s membership, whether you volunteer or not is up to you. No judgement!

Do I need to renew my membership every year?
Yes! Membership is active for the current school year and must be renewed each school year.

What if I can't find the time volunteer?
It truly takes a village to support a thriving PTO. Becoming a PTO member and giving your financial support is just as important as giving your time.

Does joining the PTO really make a difference?
Yes! Your membership puts you in direct communication with other parents and school staff. It shows your child you are invested in their educational experience.

Do I have to be on the board or a committee?
No! You do not have to join the board or chair a committee to be a member of the PTO. Every voice counts.
